Dr. Rakhmanine is a colorectal surgeon.
He earned his medical degree at St. Petersburg Medical School. He completed a residency in general surgery and a burn fellowship in at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y. He then completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and a colon-rectal surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Dr. Rakhmanine has a special interest in difficult colonoscopy, minimally invasive laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, nonsurgical treatment of hemorrhoids, and transanal endoscopic microsurgery. Dr. Rakhmanine also performs peripheral nerve evaluation procedures for the treatment of fecal incontinence.
